Hotels in Ravello
Our planner will be in Ravello doing some scouting for us the first week of November, and we are looking into doing a hotel block/walkable hotels at varying price points. If you check back by end of November this should be updated with options. If you have any questions in the meantime you can email our planner at lisa@elegantewedding.com for assistance.

Airbnb & Vrbo
If you are looking for a multi room accommodation we suggest using Airbnb or Vrbo. When looking at a location make sure to enter Villa Eva as the location for proximity vs Ravello in general to make sure that you are close to the venue.

F.A.Q.s.
Q: What airport should I fly into?
A: We suggest flying into Rome Fiumicino airport (FCO) or Naples Airport (NAP).
Q: What is the best way to Ravello?
A: There is not a train station directly in Ravello. We suggest either taking a private transfer from the Rome or Naples Airport. If you land in Rome you can also take the speed train from Roma Termini to Napoli Centrale (Frecciarosa train tickets can be purchased on trenitalia.it) If need assistance with a private transfer please reach out to our planner at lisa@elegantetravel.com . There is a also the SITA Bus from Rome to Ravello.
Q: When should I buy my ticket?
A: If you find a ticket at any point close to $1000 round trip it is a good deal, and you should get it. Anything under $1200 is reasonable from a major city considering it is high season. Outside of finding something in that range we suggest booking 5-7 months in advance.
Q: What details do I need to know about passports?
A: If you are needing to get a passport or renew your current we recommend doing so as soon as possible. Current wait times are about 12 -15 weeks for regular procurement. If you want to pay the extra fee for an expedited passport the wait time is currently 9-10 weeks. You passport cannot expire within 6 months of your current passport expiring from the date you would leaving FROM Europe back to the US. This is VERY important as you will be denied entrance if your return flight is within 6 months of your passport expiration.
Q: What is the weather like in September in Italy?
A: It will likely be quite warm during the day and then cool off a bit in the evening in Amalfi Coast. Likely mid to high 70s during the day is quite common. We suggest making sure to have a wrap if you are wearing a dress for the evening in case in cools down significantly. There tends to be a wind off the coast.
Q: How do I get from the Rome Airport to the city center or Roma Termini station?
A: You can take a taxi from the airport to your hotel directly or take the express train to Roma Termini station and then take a taxi to your hotel. The express train is called the Leonardo Express, and it runs every 20-25 minutes from the airport to the central station.
Q: Is a visa required for travel to Italy?
A: Potentially. ETIAS is rolling out an online visa that will be required for US Citizens to enter the Schengen region. It has been said that it will roll out in 2026, but they have not listed a specific date. It will be a small fee and online registration that is required. Our planner is monitoring if this is going to be required for our guests and will notify everyone if our guests are going to affected.
